Finding Hope After Loss: GriefShare at Deer Flat Church

Deer Flat Church   -

Have you recently experienced the loss of a spouse, child, family member, or friend? The pain of grief can feel overwhelming, and it’s important to know you’re not alone. Deer Flat is here to offer support and encouragement through our GriefShare program.

GriefShare is a 13-week support group designed to help you navigate the difficult journey of grief. Each week, you’ll connect with others who understand your loss and share their own experiences. Through videos, discussions, and guided exercises, you’ll gain valuable tools for coping with your emotions and finding hope for the future.

Here are some key things to know about GriefShare at Deer Flat:

Open to anyone: Whether you’ve lost a spouse, child, parent, sibling, or friend, GriefShare provides a safe space for healing.
Flexible schedule: We meet on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm in Room 11 (enter on the backside of the building through the double white doors). Each week’s session is independent, so you don’t have to worry about missing a class or two.
Affordable: The only cost is $20 for the workbook, which will be a valuable resource throughout the program.

Marian Heim leads the GriefShare program at Deer Flat Church. If you have any questions or would like to register, please contact her at 208.258.1594 or heimontherange@outlook.com.
