You probably heard Pastor Ryan announce that Deer Flat Church is launching an inspiring Prayer Initiative aimed at uniting the congregation in focused prayer each month.
The initiative will center around the powerful message of John 13:35, which emphasizes love as the hallmark of discipleship. All of us are invited to pause every Monday at 1:35 PM (13:35 military time) to pray together, reflecting on how we can embody love in our lives and communities. Then each month after we will also be encouraged to pray specifically for a need, opportunity, or ministry, fostering a deeper sense of community and purpose.
To facilitate participation, we’ve made prayer cards available, each featuring a QR code. Scanning the code allows members to sign up for weekly reminders, ensuring that everyone can stay connected and engaged with the prayer focus. This approach not only encourages individual prayer but also strengthens the collective spirit of our congregation.
