KEEPING YOU INFORMED - FEBRUARY 2022

Hello Deer Flat,
I want to take this opportunity to thank you and provide some amazing statistics and updates. Your willingness to make Deer Flat your home church and give of your time and resources, help to make this all possible.
Even during a 2 year battle with Covid, Deer Flat has continued to see growth. We are not without challenges, and we do not what tomorrow will bring, but we celebrate what God is doing today and believe He has put us in a unique position for upcoming opportunities and/or challenges.
2021 Results

• 571 First Time Guests (including children and youth)
• 5% increase in attendance
• 70 New Members
• 27 Baptisms
• 50% increase in giving
• Over $240,000 given to missions
• We continued improvements to our facilities to help meet the needs for years to come
  • Front parking lot repaved
  • Back parking lot paved
  • Youth Room lighting, sound and video upgrades
  • Worship Center main lighting updated
  • Phase 1 of stage lighting improvements
  • All doors in old section of building refinished
  • New sound & video system in lobby
  • Exterior of entire building painted
  • Windows replaced in old section of building
  • New lawn mower
  • Skid steer for Camp
  • New folding chairs and couches for camp
  • New folding chairs for lobby
• We provided a location for a homeschool co-op of nearly 300 children to meet on a weekly basis
• Support, services and meals provided to more than 15 families during their loss
• Assistance to Deer Flat families in need
• Numerous classes, events and opportunities to meet a variety of needs and desires

This year we will be:

• Replacing our (very old) oil furnaces with high-efficiency propane furnaces
• Continued improvements/additions in the Worship Center sound, video and lighting
• Finish installing tile in the cabins and Camp Cascade
• Install a water filtration system at Camp Cascade
• A variety of other projects
• Collectively over 20% of our budget will go towards missions, church planting and expanding ministry throughout the denomination

I know that may seem like a lot of “data”, but it is a small snapshot of what is happening and what it takes to make it all happen.
